MEET OUR FOUNDER

Ulrich Strauss is a visionary founder and director of Freedom Connect. As a dynamic facilitator and skilled programme manager, Ulrich has established restoration centres and support groups across the Western Cape, Gauteng, and Namibia.

He served as a director of a renowned Christian restoration centre in Kraaifontein from 2010-2023, impacting thousands of lives through his work. His credentials include a Master Trainer with counseling experience with Syabulela, Kimoja, and Sanca.

Ulrich's efforts have been highlighted across major media outlets, including Cape Talk, CCFM, ETV, Radio Tygerberg, and Radio NFM. His personal journey from addiction to leadership inspires many, driving change and fostering freedom through his profound insights and powerful narrative.

MEET OUR CO-FOUNDER

Lurika Strauss, alongside Ulrich Strauss, brings a wealth of experience as an internationally accredited Life Coach, Master Trainer, and Counsellor with a diverse corporate background in real estate, bookkeeping, creditors control, administration, and travel and tourism.

Her extensive work with women and girls has been a cornerstone of her life journey, and she has travelled nationwide with Freedom Connect to support the women and children in their care.

As the wife of Ulrich, Lurika has been pivotal to the organization's journey from its inception, playing a crucial role in keeping operations running smoothly and effectively. Lurika is also a powerful speaker and facilitator, coordinating small group sessions, one-on-one sessions, special events, and customized support plans for those affected by substance abuse and other socio-economic issues.
