OUR MISSION AND OUR TEAM
OUR MISSION
In today's society, maintaining a healthy and productive community is more challenging and crucial than ever. Substance dependency and substance abuse are pervasive issues that profoundly affect our communities, leading to decreased productivity, increased violence and crime, and higher healthcare costs. Freedom Connect offers specialised corporate and community wellness programs that focus on substance dependency and substance abuse awareness and intervention. Our mission is to empower individuals and organisations to overcome these challenges, fostering a healthier, more supportive community free from substance abuse.
Freedom Connect (NPO 309-492) is a dedicated non-profit organisation committed to delivering tailored substance awareness and wellness programmes for both corporates and communities. As a faith-based organisation, we draw upon the principles of faith, hope, and love to guide our work. However, we are uniquely equipped to support individuals from all backgrounds, recognising the diverse needs of those we serve.
What sets us apart is our holistic approach. Unlike traditional, clinical-focused programmes, Freedom Connect emphasises addressing the whole individual, attending to their psycho-social needs with compassion and understanding. Our programmes are designed to foster genuine healing and transformation, making a meaningful impact on the lives of those we reach.
OUR VISION
TRAINED LEADERS
RECOVERY AND INCLUSION
Many corporate and community leaders lack the training and resources to effectively address substance abuse issues within their teams and communities. This gap can lead to missed opportunities for early intervention and support, exacerbating the problem. Leaders need to recognise the signs of substance abuse and understand how to provide appropriate support without stigmatising the affected individuals. At Freedom Connect, we believe that with the right training and resources, leaders can make a significant difference in their communities and in their employees' lives and overall workplace wellness.
It's essential to remember that individuals living with addiction can recover and become well-functioning, valuable members of society. Excluding them from the workplace and community only perpetuates the cycle of dependency and societal exclusion. Many negative outcomes associated with substance abuse can be avoided through early intervention and supportive measures. Our programs are designed to help organisations foster an inclusive environment that encourages recovery and personal growth.
